There are not many reasons why people cannot get dental insurance but there are some instances where this does occur. If you already have dental problems that will need treating you cannot get the cover. Some companies do require that you ask your dentist to declare your teeth are in good condition and do not need treating before they will consider you for cover. Having a good dental insurance plan will mean that even thought we are living in economically hard times your treatments will not have to take the back seat. Most good policies will ensure you visit either a private dentist or a NHS dentist. It is good to have the choice especially when NHS dentists are so overstretched and waiting lists are hideously long. This is not a situation anybody wants to be in let alone when you are in pain or a treatment is fairly urgent.
